General Behavior

  • If you are mean to people, you will be banned forever and all your posts will be deleted. If you’re not sure what that means, you should probably just delete your account right off the bat and get it over with. As of February 1st 2015, the Forums will be an extension of BscotchID. This means that if you violate our our DON’T BE A JERK policy in-game or in the Forums, we can AND WILL suspend or delete your account and you'll lose access to all of your data everywhere. PERMANENTLY. FOREVER. So don't be a jerk.

Keep Things On Topic

  • Keep your discussions constrained to the topic at hand, and be sure to post your discussions under their relevant categories. For example, don’t start a post about bagels in the Quadropus Rampage forum. That’s for the bagels forum, which we don’t have, which means it’s for the off-topic forum.

  • Moderators will attempt to move your posts to the correct category if you post them in the wrong place, but there’s a chance the moderators might accidentally delete your post instead. On purpose.

Bug Reporting

  • First and foremost, if you want to guarantee that your bug reports get seen, use the in-game bug reporting interface for whatever game you are playing. However, if the game doesn’t have such an interface, report bugs here in the forums in the game-specific or test-specific categories.

  • If you discover a bug within a game and would like to inform us of that bug using the forums, you must adhere to the following guidelines:

    • Your post must be in the category associated with that game.

    • Your post title must start with "[BUG]" and include a brief description of that bug. E.g. "[BUG] Game crashes after I do a sweet dance move".

    • Your bug report should be no more than a couple sentences. We have to make games, and we don’t have time to read your novels!

  • Failure to adhere to the guidelines will result in your bug report going unnoticed.
